OTAP – Ohio Transition
Assistance Program
OTAP is a series of Veterans job search workshops sponsored by
the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. This is a great program to help veterans and
their spouses succeed in the civilian workforce!
Help yourself to a future with assistance in:

Job Search goals and motivation – A job search is a
targeted marketing campaign. Find out how to motivate yourself, how to find potential employers
and how to sell yourself to them.

Resumes and cover letters – Learn the “rules” of the
resume game and why you should consider having a multiple format resume and a targeted cover
letter.

Interviewing preparation and follow-up – Find out
what employers expect and how to put your best foot forward during the all-important job
interview.
The workshops include:

presentations

Hands-on workbook activities

Job search do’s and don’ts
The workshops, manuals, and materials are FREE for veterans and
their spouses!
